| Students and job seekers with disabilities are encouraged to participate in Disability Mentoring Day (DMD) on October 21 to gain valuable experience through job shadowing. |

 iBudget Algorithm | |
| The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) held a public workshop on August 19 in Tallahassee to obtain feedback on the new iBudget Florida algorithm. Advocates, stakeholders, parents, service providers, and others attended to hear about the improved algorithm used to predict resource needs for customers enrolled on the iBudget waiver. |

 Training in Employment | |
| The Northwest Region provided Supported Employment training and Social Security Work Incentive training through Skype in three locations—Panama City, Pensacola and Tallahassee—on August 3-4 and August 10-11. Thirty-two individuals were certified in supported employment in the region. |
