Brochure Wins PR Award
The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) won two awards during the Golden Image Awards of the Florida Public Relations Association on August 11 in Orlando. Communications Director Melanie Mowry Etters, APR, CPRC, accepted the awards on behalf of APD.
The agency received a Golden Image Award and a Judge’s Award for its William J. Rish Park brochure. The Image Award is awarded to the best entry in its category. Judge’s awards are presented to effective public relations tools and campaigns which use minimal financial resources.
These awards recognize the good work of the APD Communications Office and many others agency employees who helped with this project.
