Pinwheels for Prevention
April was Child Abuse Prevention month, and APD employees were busy supporting the Ounce of Prevention Fund’s Pinwheels for Prevention campaign in Florida. APD has zero tolerance for the abuse, so it supports this effort to raise public awareness. On April 12, Kim Tillery, Lisa Robertson, and Melanie Mowry Etters joined dozens of agencies in planting pinwheels at the Capitol. On April 18, pinwheels were planted in front of the state office building in Tallahassee to show our strong support for this prevention effort.
