Family Care Council and APD Out and About
On October 3, 211-Broward held their 37th Annual Disability Expo at Nova Southeastern University. Southeast Region APD staff and Field Office 10 Family Care Council members participated as Expo exhibitors. Families came out in full force to gather information about services from more than 75 exhibitors.

On October 28, the Alpert Jewish Family and Children Service held a resource fair at the Therapeutic Recreation Gymnasium in Lake Worth, Florida. APD and FCC-09 were asked to share a table at the fair. The resource fair is annual event which is open to everyone in the county. Pictured are Jean Malacko, Secretary of FCC-09, and Claire Falik, an FCC-09 associate member.
