Governor Rick Scott Appoints Ten to Florida Developmental Disabilities Council

TALLAHASSEE, FL —Today, Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments and eight reappointments to the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council.

Amanda Baker, 35, of Panama City, is a technician for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Panama City. She succeeds Kathleen McCallister and is appointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Phillip Stevens, 51, of Tampa, is a division vice president at Jacobs Engineering. He succeeds Cynthia Jackson and is appointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Conney Dahn, 63, of Stuart, is a teacher with the Martin County School District. She is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Laurie Harlow, 59, of Tampa, is a registered nurse with Life Path Hospice. She is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Sylvia James-Miller, 58, of Ocala, is an independent waiver support coordinator with Endless Possibilities Waiver Support. She is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Jack Kosik, 65, of Lakeland, is the executive director of Noah’s Ark of Central Florida. He is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Thomas “TJ” Moon, 29, of Ocala, is the former owner of Moonscapes Inc. He is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Tricia Riccardi, 39, of Orlando, is the chief executive officer of The Dream Society. She is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Louis Towson, 69, of Marianna, is a retired custodial worker. He is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.

Victoria Zepp, 51, of Tallahassee, is the chief executive officer of Zepp Strategic Partners. She is reappointed for a term beginning March 14, 2016, and ending September 30, 2019.
