Tacachale Hosts the ‘King of Pop’
Last month, Tacachale residents and staff rocked out with an impersonator of the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson. The crowd screamed with delight as the performer from Orlando wowed them with MJ’s signature dance moves and moon-walked across the stage. After getting everyone to their feet with rousing renditions of “The Way You Make Me Feel” and “Human Nature,” his soft, crooning rendition of “I’ll Be There” had the swooning throng swaying and waving their arms in the air. Of course, no Michael Jackson show would be complete without “Thriller” and “Billie Jean,” and he brought the house down with his encore, “Smooth Criminal.” Following the exciting performance, attendees had the opportunity to share the limelight with the star and have their photo taken. Some enthusiasts sported sequined, colorful shirts, silk top hats, and white gloves, evidence that the “King of Pop” may be gone but is not forgotten.
