Celebrate Exceptional Employers
APD and its partners will be honoring outstanding Florida employers with a history of hiring people with disabilities on Friday, October 11, in Tallahassee at City Hall, 300 South Adams Street. This free public event will be held in the Tallahassee City Commission Chambers beginning at 8:30 a.m. and wrapping up at 10:30 a.m.
At the event, there will be informational displays, refreshments, and presenters emphasizing the importance of providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Both individuals with disabilities and the employers who hire them will share inspiring stories.
