SportsAbility

The Florida Disabled Outdoors Association (FDOA) hosted its annual SportsAbility last month that highlights active leisure and recreation for individuals with disabilities.

Tallahassee Community College hosted the Resource Expo along with indoor activities including basketball, badminton, archery, adaptive golf, and martial arts, music, and dance performances.

APD manned an informational booth for attendees to ask questions and learn more about resources and services available to them.

The last day of Tallahassee’s SportsAbility weekend was at Maclay Gardens State Park and included boating, jet skiing, horseback riding, and more.

FDOA’s next event will be the Family CafĂ© SportsAbility Sampler, June 7-9 in Orlando. For more information about FDOA and SportsAbility, visit www.fdoa.org.
