The Arc Gateway Program for Adult Learning and Support (PALS) hosted its 2018 graduation ceremony last month at the Pensacola State College Ashmore Auditorium. Thirty-one students graduated with two certificates in lawn care maintenance, retail services, administrative services, general services, horticulture, cleaning maintenance, information technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, or auto detail.

The Honorable Clay Ingram, President and CEO of the Greater Pensacola Chamber, told the students, “You are responsible for taking what was learned and using it to go confidently in the direction of your dreams.  Live life with an attitude of gratitude.”

The Arc Gateway PALS program is a career certification program located on the main campus of Pensacola State College.  The program provides a college campus-based learning experience that focuses on career certification, increased independence, and preparation to enter the workforce.
