Senior Day
On March 27, Florida seniors, sponsors, nonprofit organizations, and state agencies came together at the Capitol for Senior Day. Florida Senior Day is hosted by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, United Way of Florida, statewide partners, and thousands of seniors. The event brings together corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit organizations to support the full spectrum of services and needs of Florida seniors and their families.
APD was represented by Communications Director Melanie Mowry Etters, Deputy Communications Director Zoe Linafelt, and Correspondence Manager Chancer Teel who hosted a table with an informational display and literature.
Correspondence Manager Chancer Teel shared information with seniors, caregivers, partners, and advocates who attended Florida Senior Day at the Capitol.
