Around the World at Tacachale

Tacachale is very proud of and celebrated the ethnic and cultural diversity embodied by the residents and staff on March 14 at the annual Multicultural Festival. Purchased passports allowed visitors to browse 20 display booths and taste foods from 17 different countries. Exhibitors enjoyed learning new things about their own heritage as they researched and planned their booths, and many proud participants sported colorful ethnic costumes. Live performances of traditional music characteristic of various cultures added to the ambiance.

This is one of Tacachale’s favorite events, and it gets better every year. It’s wonderful to be able to experience and explore so many different cultures and taste such a variety of ethnic cuisine in one venue. Residents and staff appreciate the diverse mixture of backgrounds and cultures that make up their population, contributing to making Tacachale such a unique and special place to live and work.
