This holiday season, Christmas gifts were donated generously though the efforts of Bill Shea, a retired APD employee. Shea has been “Santa’s Helper” for over 12 years. These donations enhance the holidays for many individuals living in group homes who will not be getting gifts from other sources (family, friends, church, etc.). Shea received donations of toys mainly from his contacts at the Last Dream Soccer Club. He also secured donations of six gift cards which were given to individuals in Supported Living who may not have enough funds to enjoy the holidays. We would like to thank Bill Shea for his selfless dedication to the individuals we serve; Alan Barttoff and the Knights of Columbus OLQA Council 12376 for donating the gift cards; and President of the Palm Beach "Last Dream" Soccer Club Ralph Abbernante and Mike/Santa Miller for donating the gifts.
