Family Care Council Region 14 Sponsors Speaker from Sesame Street

On November 28, the Family Care Council Region 14 sponsored a speaker on the topic of autism. Frank Campagna is a father to a 14-year-old son with autism. Campagna has been writing about his experiences and became a social media sensation. He gives people a realistic look at the world inside an autism household, including all the ups and downs of daily life.

A crowd of approximately 50 individuals gathered at Polk State College to learn the truth about autism. Mr. Campagna spoke on subjects such as You’re Allowed to be Mad, Autism Includes a Few Perks, You’re Going to Get Advice from Everyone, and Stop Googling Everything. He took the time to answer questions and take selfies with the crowd before and after the presentation.
