Gov. Scott Appoints Eight to Florida Developmental Disabilities Council

Governor Rick Scott recently announced the appointment of five and the reappointment of three to the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council. All terms end on September 30, 2022.

Yolanda Herrera, 73, of Hialeah, is a therapeutic foster parent for Pinnacle Family Services. She succeeds Bernadette Moran.

Elly Hagen, 55, of Fort Myers, is the owner of Elly Hagen Marketing & PR. She succeeds Rixys Alfonso.

Frank Shalett, 54, of Fort Lauderdale, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. He is reappointed.

Eddie Hall, 54, of Lakeland, is a greeter for Home Depot, Inc. He is reappointed.

Kali Wilson, 43, of Palm Harbor, is a nurse manager in behavioral health at the Medical Center of Trinity. She succeeds Pat Archer.

Sara Goldman, 26, of Tampa, is a legislative aide for State Representative Ben Diamond. She succeeds Kathy Leigh.

Kevin Johnson, 39, of Celebration, is the executive director of Bishop Grady Villas. He is reappointed.

Dr. Dennis Hart, 60, of Bradenton, is the senior director of developmental and rehabilitation services at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He fills a vacant seat.
