On February 20, FCC-15 Past Chair Melody Hearn, Southeast Regional employee Milory Senat, and Successful Futures for Helping People Succeed Vice President France Mason attended the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4 Human Services Transportation Summit. FDOT District 4 and its partners hosted a day of learning, sharing best practices, and networking with human services transportation staff, transportation providers, advocates, planners, and consumers in the South Florida Region.


The Treasure Coast Interagency Transition Council held their monthly meeting on March 20 at Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee, Florida. The team discussed the outcome of the transition fair held earlier this year at Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce. Additionally, the team reviewed the results from the survey. On March 21, APD SE Regional Human Services Program Specialist Patricia White represented APD at the third annual Parent Resource Fair for the Broward County ESE Advisory Council. The resource fair connected families of children with special needs to community groups, agencies, and services.
