Rish Park Enhancements
Beautiful William J. Rish Recreational Park on Cape San Blas in Gulf County has a new bayside boardwalk and ramp down to St. Joseph Bay. The almost 100-acre park goes from St. Joe Bay across the peninsula to the Gulf of Mexico.
New lights have been installed along the boardwalk so visitors can enjoy the scenery in the evening. With the new ramp, individuals can swim in the bay or have easy access to boats or kayaks if they bring them along to the park.
To help people with mobility issues, Rish Park acquired two new beach wheelchairs so park visitors can enjoy the sand and surf of the Gulf of Mexico.
