Gov. Scott Appoints Seven to Florida Rehabilitation Council

Governor Rick Scott recently announced two reappointments and five appointments to the Florida Rehabilitation Council.

Janet Severt, 60, of Edgewater, is the executive director at New Horizons Service Dogs. She is reappointed for a term ending June 30, 2020.

Rebecca Witonsky, 42, of Boca Raton, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She is reappointed for a term ending June 30, 2020.

Ana Laura dos Santos Lara, 39, of Miami, is a transition manager at Parent to Parent of Miami, Inc. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed to fill a term ending June 30, 2019.

Victoria Aguilar, 40, of Lehigh Acres, is a vocational rehabilitation counselor at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. She succeeds Vincent Cosentino and is appointed for a term ending June 30, 2020.

Robert Campbell, 63, of Jacksonville, is a board member of CareerSource Florida. He succeeds Benedict Grzesik and is appointed for a term ending June 30, 2019.

Michael Adamus, 50, of Orlando, is a representative for persons with disabilities. He succeeds Kara Tucker and is appointed for a term ending June 30, 2020.

Amanda Brown, 37, of Gainesville, is the associate director of disability resource at the University of Florida. She succeeds Christine Goulbourne and is appointed for a term ending June 30, 2020.
