Commitment and Passion Lead to Job Success for Albert Brewster

An employee of the La Quinta Inn in Jupiter, Florida, Albert Brewster has an eye for detail and a passion for working. Brewster has been fortunate to maintain employment at the La Quinta Inn since 2015, and he takes pride in his work. “I stay on task and I like my job,” says Brewster. “I feel good about myself when I’m working.”

Maria Grebe, General Manager of the motel, decided to bring Brewster on board as a staff member following an interview with him. It is a decision with which she has remained pleased. Work Opportunities Unlimited introduced Brewster to the staff at La Quinta Inn, linking the potential employee to his current employer.

A typical workday for Brewster includes maintaining the public areas of the motel, including the lobby, gym, and breakfast area, as well as folding towels and sheets in the laundry area. Brewster is passionate in his work and very dedicated to his job. “He is never late coming to work,” says Grebe of Brewster. “That shows commitment and that he cares.”

Brewster enjoys new challenges and says that learning new skills is one of his top goals professionally. The personal satisfaction that comes from his job is evident when you talk to Brewster and those around him.
