TRAIN Florida Update
Pamela S. London, MPABeginning May 18, 2016, TRAIN Florida became the official Learning Management System (LMS) for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). Through TRAIN Florida, APD provides easy access to courses that support professional and personal development, as well as courses and registration for courses not provided by APD.
There are now 33,831 users and 135,677 course registrations for TRAIN Florida. It is estimated that, based on the previous $15.00 rate that TCC charged and the current 135,677 registrations in TRAIN Florida, providers have saved approximately $2,035,155 with this new system.
