UWF Hosts APD Customers at Double Header

The University of West Florida (UWF) in Pensacola provided VIP treatment to two families at basketball games on February 11 as part of the Agency for Persons With Disabilities (APD) Game Changer initiative where sports teams donate tickets to individuals with developmental disabilities.  Rhiannon Johnson and her father were the honored guests at the women’s basketball game. Rhiannon’s moves and great attitude came shining through.  Later, Jeff Woods and his mother were the honored guests at the men’s basketball game.  Both Rhiannon and Jeff got their pictures taken with the cheerleaders, got an opportunity to meet the players, were introduced at half time, showered with gifts along with having VIP seating.  UWF winning both games added to the excitement of the opportunity.
