On May 20, about 500 business owners, healthcare providers, disability stakeholders, association members, and family members attended a daylong seminar at the Tampa Convention Center on disability issues.
Suncoast Regional Operations Manager Jeff Smith was one of four speakers to welcome participants to the seminar. Deputy Director of Programs Denise Arnold sat on the Legislative panel with about a dozen other people including five elected officials.
