Ability Awards
The Able Trust hosted its annual Ability Awards on June 17 in Tallahassee to recognize individuals, non-profit agencies, employers, and other organizations that have made outstanding contributions toward providing employment opportunities for Floridians with disabilities.
Among the many winners were the Boca Beach Club at Boca Raton Resort and Club and Fair Point Communications of Port Saint Joe that both won Employer of the Year Awards. Ability1st of Tallahassee won High School High Tech Program of the Year. The City of Tallahassee won Public Employer of the Year.
It was also announced Karen Moore founder of Moore Communications Group will become the chairperson of the Able Trust Board of Directors.
