Summer Plunge at Tacachale
Ice is one way to overcome the Florida summer heat. So on July 23 over 80 Tacachale residents and 27 student volunteers from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business celebrated our Summer Plunge event at the Ray Greene Center. The University of Florida Gator volunteers assisted the residents with a variety of carnival games, arts and crafts, and even provided manicures. The main highlight of the event was the arrival of the coolest shaved ice truck ever, the Snowie Gator. The residents had a great time making their own snow cones from a variety of different flavors while listening to music.
