Exceptional Employer Awards
Make plans to attend the Exceptional Employer Awards ceremony on October 7 in Tallahassee. The Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Blind Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, and other partners will be recognizing eight outstanding businesses at Tallahassee City Hall. These exceptional employers will receive an award because their companies have demonstrated a strong commitment to employing individuals with disabilities.
There also will be informational displays, refreshments, and speakers talking about the importance of providing opportunities for people with disabilities to go to work. This free public event will be held at the Tallahassee City Commission Chambers, 300 South Adams Street, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
