iBudget Rule Meeting

The agency held an iBudget Florida rule hearing October 8 at APD’s state office in Tallahassee.  The purpose of the meeting was to gather public comment and answer questions about the iBudget rule changes.

About 20 people attended and the comments touched on transportation services, the Significant Additional Needs process, better communication with waiver support coordinators and providers, natural supports, and ensuring language is consistent throughout the rule.

Participants praised APD for the open meetings, listening to the public, and incorporating many of the comments into the rule.
