Will You Create an ABLE Account?

Earlier this year, Governor Rick Scott signed Senate Bill 642 creating the Florida ABLE program for individuals with disabilities to save money in a tax-free savings account for future services without losing their eligibility for state and federal benefits. The Florida Prepaid College Board is administering the program. Scott also designated the State Board of Administration to create the Florida ABLE Trust Fund, which will hold appropriations and money for the Florida ABLE program.

The organization wants to know more about when and why families decide to create an ABLE account.  If you have a family member with a disability, please complete this survey.
