Governor Appoints Seven to FCCs
Governor Rick Scott recently announced two appointments and five reappointments to Family Care Councils (FCCs) across the state.
Area Three Family Care Council
- Dr. Elizabeth A. Hill, of Gainesville, is the owner of Elizabeth A. Hill D.D.S. PA. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term ending June 2, 2017.
Area Four Family Care Council
- Amanda Caswell, of St. Augustine, is an advocacy specialist for the Arc of Jacksonville. She is reappointed for a term ending August 4, 2017.
- Karen Prewitt, of Jacksonville, is the family outreach coordinator for the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville. She is reappointed for a term ending June 29, 2018.
- Moira Rossi, of Jacksonville, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She is reappointed for a term ending March 29, 2018.
Area Nine Family Care Council
- Colleen Whitman, of Boca Raton, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term ending May 7, 2018.
Area Ten Family Care Council
- Betty Watkins, of Pompano Beach, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. She is reappointed for a term ending September 23, 2016.
Area Thirteen Family Care Council
- Jeffrey Nally, of Bushell, is a facility technician for Sumter Electric Cooperative. He is reappointed for a term ending September 18, 2017.
