PURE Empowerment Center to Open August 25 in Pensacola
Pure Friendship Ministries and Project Empower of Northwest Florida are bringing life skills and social skills training to Pensacola. The PURE Empowerment Center opens August 25 for those who wish to invest in themselves. The program will provide Life Skills through laundry, clothes organization, grooming, gardening, nutrition and exercise training weekly.
Pure Friendship has hosted coffee socials the past two years that have grown in popularity. The coffee social will now occur each Friday and afterward, exercise, nutrition education, game play, and more social activities will be offered, extending the hours to 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing respite for our community caregivers. Clothes, grooming, organization and gardening skills are trained on Tuesday of each week, same hours. Career Exploration and Employment training will also be offered.
