Prudential Productivity Awards Ceremony
On June 25, Florida TaxWatch hosted a regional Prudential Productivity Awards ceremony in Tampa at the TPepin Hospitality Centre. Among the winners was APD’s very own Arthur Ciesla from the Central Region. His cost savings initiative generated about $15,000 in annual savings. He used the agency’s video conferencing technology to perform meetings that included several employees from all around the state. Ciesla’s resourcefulness has saved the state money on travel costs and also the employees’ time. This year, the agency took home five Prudential awards with a total cost savings of almost $50,000.
APD will soon start collecting nominations for the cost-saving initiatives that have been implemented this past year.
